This month, explore new foods and fashion favorites to try out! Find inspiration all around you.
November is one of my favorite months! Fall is in full swing, the air is getting cooler (in many places), the anticipation of the holidays and Christmas is building, and loads of inspiration are out there!
Not to mention, the end of the year is nearing, and so it’s a great time to start reflecting on the past year and thinking about goals for the new year.
This series of monthly favorites has been a great way to think about all the things that inspire me and bring me joy, and you can do this, too! Select your method of documentation and track the various places, objects, foods, events, and people that inspire you and have brought you happiness.

This all being said, here are my November favorites. Hopefully this list will not only inspire you to try something new or sparks an idea, but also will encourage you to reflect on your own life and joys.
7 NOVEMBER FAVORITES
1. TRADER JOE’S DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED MINI PRETZELS
These are quite possibly my favorite item from Trader Joe’s. They never fail me! And trust me, I know how delicious all of Trader Joe’s foods are. But despite the array of options and seasonal goodies, these pretzels always stay at the top for me. They’re the perfect sweet and salty snack, and because it’s dark chocolate, it’s not too sugary. You can add them to charcuterie boards, put them in lunch boxes, or just eat the whole bag.
2. CHARM BRACELETS
Have you noticed that charms are making a comeback? And from bracelets to necklaces, they are getting chunkier! Well, I’m hopping on the trend because charm bracelets are not only the perfect addition to your bracelet stack, but there are tons of adorable charms to personalize your look and make your jewelry a bit more meaningful. I’m not sure if I’m quite on board with the super chunky styles yet, but I’ve come across some great options that are both cute and a tad more conservative.

3. MĀLA MARKET SANDWICHES
If you know me, you know I absolutely love sandwiches. Māla Market is a sandwich shop that recently opened up near me, so of course I had to give it a try. And it did NOT disappoint! I’ll admit, I was slightly skeptical because the sandwiches looked pretty ~healthy~; they are stuffed to the brim with fresh veggies and your protein of choice, on organic bread. I know, almost sounds TOO healthy. But let me tell you, this sandwich was delicious! And that is proof that high quality ingredients can truly make a difference. Plus, the pink goddess dressing and cilantro dressing on the side is to die for! These sandwiches were filling, scrumptious, and felt healthy in the best way. If you live in Hawai’i, or if you’re visiting, check them out. I got the turkey avo, and it was perfect. Perhaps this will inspire you to create some healthy, hearty sandwiches of your own!
4. MADEWELL CLOTHING
I’ve always loved Madewell, especially their denim. But recently, as I’ve been doing my holiday shopping and wishlists, I was reminded of my love for this brand! Their pieces are always great quality and they have the best staples – from tops and bottoms to footwear and accessories. If you need some cute, high-quality basics for your closet, let this be your inspiration! Here are a few of my top picks I’ve had my eyes on:
The Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Jean
Brightside Tee
Patch Pocket Denim Shorts
The Transport Shoulder Crossbody Bag

5. OVERNIGHT OATS + PAPAYA
I’ve been making overnight oats on and off for about a year now, and it is such a great breakfast/brunch staple. I usually make a plain base layer and load on the toppings of my choice. Recently, I’ve been scooping out the seeds of a papaya and plopping the oats right in there, as if the papaya is a bowl! Then I top it with some strawberries and honey. Trust me, it’s SO good. Feel free to add anything you want – granola, nut butters, chocolate chips, shredded coconut… the possibilities are endless. But whatever the case, I highly recommend using a papaya as your bowl!
6. LULULEMON ALIGN
Everyone knows and loves Lululemon Align, but aside from their biker shorts and leggings, let’s talk about their shorts and pants. These have the same buttery-soft material, but in a looser fit! They’re perfect for lounging as part of a matching set or with a sweatshirt, or great for a casual look running errands or going on a walk.

7. THANKSGIVING SPREAD
I am forever a Christmas girlie but I LOVE Thanksgiving food! I think it’s so interesting how we as society have collectively decided to observe this holiday and eat the same foods on this one day. But I suppose I can’t complain about all the delicious bites! If I had to pick my favorite Thanksgiving food, it’d probably be the stuffing/dressing. However it’s hard to pick just one because I think what makes Thanksgiving food so great is the entire spread; having a little bit of everything is what makes the meal so delicious. I need a little bit of turkey, gravy, cranberry, potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, greens, mac n’ cheese, and whatever else I can fit on my plate! And of course, the desserts! There’s always room for a sweet treat. Not to mention, this is one of few times out of the year that the whole family gets together, so it’s nice to see everyone and catch up.
GOODBYE, NOVEMBER!
Goodbye, November. It was a lovely month! Fall and the holiday season are my favorite times of the year, so it’s sad to see it go by so quickly. But hopefully this post gets you thinking about the end of the year, inspires you to try something different, reminds you of something you enjoy, or gets you excited for the upcoming month!
